Hi! My name is Patricia McKnight and I am so lucky to say I am a teacher at Naranca Elementary! This is my 24th year at Naranca and am so proud of our school! I graduated from San DIego State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. I then continued my education at National University receiving my teaching credential and a masters degree.

As a teacher, my goal is to promote a safe, fun learning environment for all students. Learning should be fun and exciting! I want my students to want to come to school everyday! I try to promote a classroom that feels like a safe place where they can take risks with their learning. It is a place where they will learn from and be celebrated for their failures as well as their achievements. 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids. We enjoy going to the beach, sporting events or just hanging out at home together!
