Amber LeClerc

Hello! My name is Amber LeClerc and I teach 4th and 5th grades at Naranca Elementary. I attended San Jose State University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  After graduating college, I taught Kindergarten for two years at a public school in San Jose, California. While I enjoyed my time teaching in San Jose, my husband and I decided to relocate to sunny San Diego in August 2017. This is my third year working for Cajon Valley Union School District, and my second year at Naranca.

As an educator, I am passionate about by commitment to my students.  Through the development of an innovative curriculum, I aim to engage my students and inspire their curiosity.  Additionally, I am passionate about creating an equitable curriculum that caters to the strengths of students and support their diverse needs.

My dedication for teaching goes beyond the classroom.  I have great humility in knowing that I serve a purpose greater than myself.  Teaching provides me with the opportunity to create a positive lasting effect on how students learn and appreciate their education.

In addition to teaching 4th and 5th grades at Naranca, I also help coach several after school clubs. These clubs include Lego Club, TEDx Kids Club, and Girls on the Run.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors soaking up the California sunshine.  I enjoy hiking, and spending time at the beach.
