Welcome to Anza Elementary!

  • Aber MaayahHello Anza Families!

I’m Aber Maayah and I’m honored to be your principal at Anza.  I am very excited to be working with our wonderful and dedicated staff and families.  My family immigrated to the United States when I was ten years old and El Cajon has been my home and community ever since. I’m a former 91ณินฯอ๘ student and parent. I have been part of the 91ณินฯอ๘ family for over fifteen years and have served in a variety of roles.  I began my educational service as an ELDA (English Language Development Assistant) and then served as a classroom teacher and EL facilitator.  The last several years, I served as an EL and program facilitator at the district office and as an assistant principal.

I believe that our students deserve the best educational experience possible and it starts with caring and supportive relationships. At Anza students will be surrounded by adults that engage them in rigorous academics while nurturing and supporting their social, and emotional needs.

I’m looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and working with you to provide our students the best educational experience.

    Sincerely,

    Aber Maayah
