Mrs. Sabrina Copeland
Hello Coyotes!
My name is Sabrina Copeland, and Crest School has my heart. I am honored to be the principal at Crest and lead such an awesome groups of humans. Over the past 18 years I have worked as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. I am a member of the El Cajon community, I am a wife, and the mother of two teenage daughters.
Change is never easy and always constant. As we move into the 2023-2024 school year there are many positive changes in place. As the Crest team plans and looks forward to welcoming our students and families back for the upcoming school year, we will continue to design powerful learning experiences for our students. This learning will explore exciting and adventurous opportunities.
As a community we will work together to address challenges as grow and evolve. We will support one another, practice kindness, and grow together. We will continue to be innovative in our learning, and offer real world, hands-on experiences for our students.
Relationships are at the core of everything. I look forward to continuing building relationships with all of you and getting to know our students, their learning styles, strengths, interests, and values. I pride myself on being an advocate for our students and families and celebrating all of our Crest community successes, small and large.
My personal beliefs align with our district vision to raise, “Happy Kids, Engaged in Healthy Relationships, on a Path to Gainful Employment.” I value diversity and celebrate each child and community members' uniqueness.
